Changelog
0.2.18 2026-08-04
- A paid license now keeps denoising for good. Previously, if a license stopped being current, denoising stopped with it. It no longer does — the app keeps working permanently, and only access to newer versions depends on an active subscription.
- Licensing is far more forgiving of bad networks. A connection problem or an outage on our side no longer looks like an expired license, and denoising never waits on a license check.
- Crash reporting is now pinned to crash reports only. Even with reporting switched on, Aurio no longer sends session, performance, or app-hang data that some of the underlying libraries enable by default.
- Fixed: the audio preview in the setup window could keep playing after you closed the window.
0.2.16 2026-07-23
- Added an A/B preview to the setup audio test: record a short clip and toggle between the original and denoised versions to hear the difference before you finish.
0.2.17 2026-07-23
- Added a Re-run setup button in Settings that reopens the guided setup at any time — handy for re-checking your microphone or the audio test. You can move freely between the steps, and re-running it won’t change your existing setup.
0.2.15 2026-07-22
- Refreshed the in-app look with a new teal accent and a cleaner menu-bar popover.
- Reinstalling from the repair flow no longer shows setup step numbers, since there’s nothing to step through.
0.2.14 2026-07-18
- Refreshed Aurio’s visual identity with a new app icon and menu-bar glyph.
0.2.13 2026-07-10
- Raised the default denoising strength for a clearer out-of-the-box result.
- Fixed a hang when restarting the audio engine after granting permissions.
